Staying hydrated in Dubai's heat

29 August 2026 · 1 min read · Care at Home by DrypSkin · Medically reviewed by Dr Khan

Dubai's climate asks a lot of your body. Between heat, air conditioning and busy schedules, it is easy to fall behind on fluids.

Everyday habits that help

  • Sip water steadily through the day rather than all at once
  • Include electrolytes when you are active or outdoors
  • Limit alcohol and go easy on caffeine
  • Eat water-rich foods such as fruit and salad

Signs you may be running low

Headache, fatigue, dry mouth, dizziness and dark urine are common signals. If they are severe or persistent, please seek medical advice.

When a drip may help

After long travel, intense heat exposure or a demanding week, intravenous hydration restores fluid and electrolyte balance faster than drinking alone. Your clinician will assess whether it is suitable for you.
