What is stem cell IV therapy?
Stem cells are the body's own repair cells, capable of supporting the renewal of tissue throughout the body. Stem cell IV therapy infuses a prepared stem cell solution directly into the bloodstream, so it can circulate and support the body's natural repair processes. It is offered as a regenerative, recovery-focused treatment rather than a cure for any condition, and is administered under medical supervision after a review of your suitability.
What does the evidence say?
Stem cell research is a well-established field of medicine, but evidence for infusing stem cell products intravenously for general wellness or recovery is still limited, and products differ in source and processing. That is why we describe this treatment as supportive rather than curative, and why your clinician will explain what is and is not known before you decide.
How is it different from exosome therapy?
Stem cells are living cells that can support tissue renewal, while exosomes are tiny messenger particles that cells release. They are separate treatments, and neither is a cure for any condition. Our guide to exosomes vs stem cells explains the difference in plain language.

How the session works
Your clinician first reviews your health history to confirm the treatment is suitable for you. A prepared stem cell solution, suspended in a sterile carrier, is then infused slowly into a vein, similar to a standard IV drip. A session typically takes 30 to 60 minutes, and most people resume normal activities straight after. Some clinicians recommend a short course of sessions rather than a single visit, depending on your goals.
Who may not be suitable
Regenerative treatments are not right for everyone. Your clinician will ask about your medical history, medications and allergies before any treatment, and may advise against it, or ask for further tests, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection, have a current or previous cancer diagnosis, or have an immune-related condition. This list is not exhaustive, and the final decision is always made by your clinician.

Frequently asked questions
What does stem cell IV therapy involve?
A prepared stem cell solution is infused slowly into a vein, similar to a standard IV drip, after your clinician has reviewed your health history and confirmed the treatment is suitable for you.
Is it safe?
It is generally well tolerated when sourced from quality-controlled, lab-tested products and administered by a licensed healthcare professional. As with any IV treatment, your provider will review your health history first and discuss possible side effects, which are usually mild.
How long does a session take?
A typical session takes around 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your protocol.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your goals. Some people have a single session, while others follow a short course. Your clinician will recommend a plan after your consultation.
How much does it cost?
Stem cell IV therapy is priced after a short consultation, since the protocol and product used are tailored to you. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm pricing.
Is this regulated?
Stem cell products vary in source and quality. At Care at Home, treatment is administered by DHA licensed healthcare professionals using quality-controlled products, following a review of your suitability. This page is educational and is not medical advice.
What is the difference between stem cells and exosomes?
Stem cells are living cells that can support tissue renewal. Exosomes are tiny vesicles that cells release to communicate with one another. They are different treatments, and neither is a guaranteed cure. Your clinician can advise which, if either, is appropriate for you.
Can I have stem cell IV therapy at home in Dubai?
Yes. Care at Home visits homes, hotels and offices across Dubai, including Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Jumeirah and Jumeirah Village Circle. Your clinician first reviews your health history to confirm the treatment is suitable. See the full list of areas on our areas page, or message us on WhatsApp to confirm yours.
What does the evidence say about stem cell IV therapy?
Stem cell research is well established, but evidence for IV stem cell infusions for general wellness or recovery is still limited, and products differ in source and processing. Results vary by person, and your clinician will explain what is and is not known.
Who may not be suitable for stem cell IV therapy?
Your clinician will review your history first. Treatment may not be suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection, a current or previous cancer diagnosis, or an immune-related condition. This is not an exhaustive list.
What should I ask any provider of stem cell therapy?
Ask who administers it and whether they are licensed, what the product is and how it is sourced and tested, what the evidence is for your goal, and what the risks and total cost are. We are happy to answer all of these before you book.
