People usually ask us one thing before anything else: how long until I actually feel better? It's a fair question, and the honest answer has more nuance than 'thirty minutes.'
The first 10 to 15 minutes
Once the line is in and fluids start moving, most people notice the driest, most obvious symptoms ease first — the dry mouth, the pounding-behind-the-eyes headache, the slight dizziness when you stand. That's largely the saline doing its job: you're rehydrating faster than sipping water ever could, because it bypasses a stomach that may not want much to do with drinking anything right now.
By the 30 to 45 minute mark
The B-complex vitamins and the anti-inflammatory in the mix tend to take a little longer to be felt. This is usually when the fog starts lifting — people describe it as the difference between 'surviving the day' and 'actually being present for it.' Nausea, if you had it, is often noticeably better by now too.
What doesn't disappear on schedule
A drip won't touch the parts of a hangover that aren't about fluids or inflammation — disrupted sleep, for one, or the general fatigue of a late night, regardless of alcohol. If you slept two hours, you're going to feel tired at some point, drip or not. We'd rather set that expectation now than have you disappointed at hour six.
Timing your booking
If you have something at midday, the best results come from booking as early in the morning as you can, ideally as soon as you're awake enough to text us. We can usually be at your door within the hour in central Dubai. Waiting until you're due somewhere in 20 minutes doesn't leave room for the infusion itself, let alone the recovery it gives you.
